I wanted to go to a christmas party and I needed a change. So I went to a hair salon. My change to this super hot shoulder length bob with sweeping bangs was a great move for me! I chose to go to the Salon Santa Cruz hair salon because of my freinds.The smooth, straight style of my new look and the slight tuck at the very ends which is a time consuming process is what makes this style so effective and perfect for showing off my shiny blond hair. I have been working in Hair Salons in New York since I was a teenager. I have much more experience now and am noticing trends in peoples face shapes. In the hair salon I work in New York City they can be categorized into different categories.
- oval
- round
- square
- pear
The oval face is characterized by a longer than wider look. Since this is the case most any hairstyles can fit very well because of the correct proportions of the face.
The round face has typically wider cheekbones and a little fuller cheeks you most definately do not want a hairstyle that makes this feature stand out. I recommend a short hairstyle which can in turn even out the proportions by adding width to the hair.
THe square face is the most challenging I recommend a soft bouncy hairstyle to offset the squareness of the face.
The pear shaped faces are faces that are wider in the jaw than in the cheekbones. Due to this shape long hair may make the face appear wider than it normally is. Therefore, this is why short haircuts are so popular.
In my hair salon in ny we do it all. New York City is the best place to get your hair cut in a salon because they know all the modern hairstyles.
